Description

The POS Administrator will ensure seamless operation of POS systems, support staff in delivering exceptional customer service, and perform various administrative tasks.

 

Job Responsibilities

- Train and onboard staff on POS systems

- Monitor and enforce proper POS usage

- Identify and correct user errors

- Detect and report system errors

- Perform daily balancing of stock and cash transactions

- Generate and analyze POS reports

- Collaborate with inventory teams

- Assist in implementing POS system updates

- Maintain accurate documentation of POS processes

Skills and Abilities

- Proven ability to work under pressure

- Adaptability and flexibility

- Strong computer literacy

- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail

- Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., IT, Business Administration, Accounting)

- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Previous experience in retail, POS administration, or stock management is a plus
