Job Responsibilities

- Operate the telehandler machine to move, load, unload, and stack materials.

- Ensure the telehandler is properly maintained and in good working order.

- Perform daily checks on the machine including fuel, oil, and water levels.

- Attach and detach various pieces of equipment and implements.

- Assess loads and decide whether they are safe to lift.

- Understand the effects of loads, sizes, and weights on the telehandler’s stability.

- Transport materials to different locations within the facility.

- Optimize loads to ensure operational efficiency.

- Secure loads to the machine before transportation.

- Inspect for damages to vehicles.

- Schedule vehicles for maintenance and repairs.

Skills and Abilities

- Ability to operate a telehandler machine

- Good maintenance and inspection skills

- Ability to assess loads and ensure safety

- Good communication skills

Educational Qualification

- 5 O Levels Including English and Maths

- Telehandler/Forklift Driving Certificate from a reputable Institution

- Driver's License is an added advantage
