- Assist in recruitment and onboarding of technical and operational staff for mining operations
- Support compliance with labour laws, health and safety regulations and mining specific employment standards
- Help maintain accurate employee records, including certifications and medical clearances
- Participate in organizing safety inductions, toolbox talks, and wellness programs
- Assist in coordinating training programs focused on mine safety, equipment handling, and emergency response
- Support the HR team in handling employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary procedures in line with site protocols
- Help coordinate employee transport between the mine site and accommodation facilities in the nearest town, ensuring alignment with shift schedules and safety requirements
- Contribute to workforce planning and succession strategies for critical mining roles
- Assist in preparing HR reports and audits specific to mining operations and compliance
- Participate in community engagement and local hiring initiatives as part of the mine’s social corporate investments responsibility efforts
- The candidate should be studying towards a Diploma or degree in Human Resources Management from a recognized Institution.
