Description

Responsible for preventing the occurrence and controlling the spread of communicable diseases in the community through primary investigation of cases and dissemination of health information.

Job Responsibilities

- Carrying out disease prevention activities

- Disseminating health information

- Attending to complaints of Public Health significance

- Investigating all notifiable disease cases

- Inspecting premises for Public Health compliance

Skills and Abilities

- Good communication skills

- Integrity

- Highly professional

- Ability to work under pressure

Educational Qualification

- 5 O' Levels, including English Language

- Environmental Health Technician Diploma

- Registration with Environmental Health Practitioners Council

- Current Practicing Certificate

- At least 2 years of practical working experience
