- Conduct inspections to enforce compliance with the Health Professions Act (Chapter 27:19)
- Write timely inspection reports showing the actual physical situation on the ground
- Advise health professionals on minimum requirements during inspections
- Communicate professionally and efficiently with practitioners
- Ensure all revenue collection stipulations are followed
- Adhere to departmental standard operating procedures
- Perform other duties as delegated by the Deputy Secretary General
- A health-related qualification registrable with any one of the 8 Health Professions Councils in Zimbabwe
- At least 2 years of relevant experience as a health professional
- Clean Class 4 driver's license and driving experience
