Location: Beatrice Road Infectious Disease Hospital

Reports To: Principal Oral Health Therapist

Responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to the public and managing dental clinics under remote supervision.

Job Responsibilities

- Perform dental procedures (extractions, x-rays, fillings, scaling, and polishing)

- Dispense drugs to patients

- Supervise subordinates in the dental clinic

- Assist in training Oral Health Assistants and those on attachment

- Participate in Oral Health awareness campaigns

- Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor

Skills and Abilities

- Ability to work under pressure

- Team player with good leadership qualities

- Excellent communication skills

- Good interpersonal skills

Educational Qualification

- Diploma in Dental Therapy or equivalent

- Registered with the Medical and Dental Practitioner Council of Zimbabwe

- Current practicing certificate

- 3+ years of practical experience as a Dental Therapist
