Description

Lorimak Africa is seeking a skilled and experienced Blockman to join their team.

Job Responsibilities

- Cut, trim, debone, and grind meat according to customer or market requirements

- Process poultry, beef, lamb, goat, and other meats according to specifications

- Ensure proper portioning, weighing, and packaging of meat products

- Inspect meat for quality, freshness, and adherence to health regulations

- Maintain cleanliness of cutting tools, workstations, and cold storage areas

Skills and Abilities

Educational Qualification

5 "O" levels, including Mathematics and English

- Previous experience as a butcher, meat cutter, or in a related role

- Ability to use knives, saws, grinders, and other butchery equipment safely

- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and storage regulations
