Client consultation: Conduct thorough financial needs analysis by gathering information on income, expenses, assets, liabilities, financial goals, and risk tolerance.
- Client financial planning: Develop customized financial plans that include investment recommendations, insurance coverage, retirement planning, tax optimization strategies, and estate planning.
- Investment management: Assist clients in selecting suitable investment-based risk profile and financial goals, including managing investment portfolios.
- Product knowledge: Stay updated on market trends, financial products (i.e., retirement annuities, unit trusts, life insurance), and regulations to provide informed advice.
- Compliance: Adhere to FICA regulations, including disclosure requirements, suitability assessments, and record-keeping.
- Relationship building: Establish and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, reviews, and proactive outreach.
- Sales and business development: Generate new leads, prospect for potential clients, and present financial solutions to meet sales targets.
- Matric qualification
- Relevant financial planning certificate (e.g., RES)
- FAIS compliant registration with FICA
- Strong understanding of South African financial markets and regulations
- SA ID/Valid work permit
- Experience in the financial industry
