Description

- Partner with the CFO to shape and drive the bank's financial strategy, aligning financial objectives with corporate goals.

Job Responsibilities

 

- Oversee the development and implementation of robust financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure regulatory compliance and sound financial management.

- Supervise the Head of Financial Planning to ensure comprehensive short and long-term financial planning, including forecasting and stress testing.

- Lead the coordination and consolidation of the bank's annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with business priorities and risk appetite.

- Provide analytical support and challenge to business units during financial planning cycles.

- Oversee the Head of Financial Management to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful management reporting.

- Analyze financial performance against strategic and operational objectives; identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

- Present key findings and recommendations to the CFO and Executive Management.

- Ensure financial management practices comply with internal policies, regulatory standards, and audit requirements. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and oversight.

- Lead and mentor the Financial Planning and Financial Management teams, ensuring clarity of objectives and high-performance standards.

- Foster collaboration across finance sub-functions and with other departments for integrated financial decision-making.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (required)

- Professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA) (required)

- Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration (preferred)
