Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Officer to support the Office of Advancement & Public Affairs at Africa University. The successful candidate will play a key role in boosting the university's visibility and reputation through innovative marketing strategies.

Job Responsibilities

- Collaborate in the creation of innovative marketing campaigns to enhance Africa University's visibility and increase engagement with diverse audiences

- Promote Africa University's strengths in innovation, research, and leadership development through targeted and compelling messaging

- Work with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all digital and traditional marketing platforms

- Develop and implement data-driven marketing strategies to support student recruitment

- Collaborate with event organizers to design promotional campaigns that highlight Africa University's role as a centre for innovation and academic excellence

Skills and Abilities

- Strong storytelling and content creation skills, using tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Canva

- Experience in multicultural environments and fluency in French, Portuguese, Swahili, or other African languages

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

- A relevant Master's Degree is an added advantage

- Knowledge of advanced digital marketing expertise, including SEO/SEM, analytics tools, and social media management

- 2 years of demonstrated expertise in marketing and public relations
