Description
We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced Stores Clerks to join our team at Waterfalls Lodge, Victoria Falls. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing the storage, organization, and inventory of goods and supplies within a warehouse, storeroom, or inventory area.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive, check, and record all incoming deliveries, ensuring that items are in good condition and match the order specifications
- Conduct regular stock checks and inventory audits to ensure the accuracy of stock levels and prevent discrepancies
- Ensure that goods are stored in a safe and orderly manner, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Issue materials and goods to departments or staff as requested, ensuring that the correct items are provided
- Comply with workplace health and safety regulations and ensure the storage area is clean, organized, and safe for use
- Assist with ordering new stock, coordinating with suppliers, and tracking deliveries to ensure that goods arrive on time
Skills and Abilities
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues with stock or deliveries
- Well-groomed and presentable
Educational Qualification
- A minimum of 5 Ordinary level passes, including Maths and Accounts
- Relevant purchasing and supply qualification
- Previous experience in stores, warehouses, or inventory management roles is preferred with at least two years' working experience
