Description

Midlands State University is seeking General Hands for cleaning and housekeeping roles in Kwekwe, Gweru, and Zvishavane. Responsibilities include cleaning, maintaining facilities, and providing support for university events. Requires 5 O Level passes and 2 years' experience.

Job Responsibilities

- Cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of facilities

- Maintaining lecture rooms, toilets, and furniture surfaces

- Handling emergency cleaning tasks

- Moving furniture and equipment

- Preparing venues for events

- Emptying bins and ensuring proper waste disposal

- Cleaning external areas

- Supporting setup tasks

- Maintaining cleaning tools and equipment

Skills and Abilities

- Ability to multitask

- Ability to stand for long periods

- Strong organisational and time management skills

- Good customer service skills

Educational Qualification

5 O Level passes including English Language
