Description

The City of Bulawayo is seeking a Land Surveyor to conduct surveys, oversee technicians, and manage assets for municipal projects. Must have a relevant degree and survey institute membership.

Job Responsibilities

- Conduct cadastral and title surveys for municipal projects

- Oversee Survey Technicians' work, ensuring quality and compliance

- Execute surveying assignments delegated by Principal Land Surveyor

- Prepare section budgets

- Maintain inventory of assets

Skills and Abilities

- Surveying and mapping skills

- Leadership and supervision

- Quality control and compliance

- Budget preparation and management

- Asset management

- Problem-solving and analytical skills

- Clean Class 4 Driver's Licence

Educational Qualification

Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Land Survey or equivalent. Must be a member of the Institute of Land Surveyors.
