Job Responsibilities

- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of water pumps

- Starting, stopping, and monitoring the operation of water pumps to ensure they are functioning properly

- Performing routine maintenance checks to ensure they report every pump that are due for cleaning, lubricating and repairs

- To ensure every worn-out part is reported to superiors for maintenance of the pump

- General environmental maintenance

Skills and Abilities

At least 3 O Level subjects passed with grade c or better

- Physically and mentally fit

- Mechanical or Electrical background is an added advantage

- Basic understanding of machinery operation

- Observant and attentive to detail

- Knowledge of SHEQ systems

- A team player with good communication skills
