Description

- Raise loading instructions and track cargo in transit

Job Responsibilities

- Manage contracts with Port Handling Agencies and clearing houses

- Ensure proper import and export documentation and record keeping

- Establish effective distribution systems

- Route and schedule GMB and third-party fleet

- Track siding charges for bonded warehouses

- Manage fuel and fleet

- Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities

- Excellent analytical skills

- Knowledge of import/export procedures, logistics, incoterms, and marine laws

- Good supervisory and interpersonal skills

- Distribution management skills

Educational Qualification

- Degree in Transport and Logistics or Supply Chain Management

- 5 O' Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics/Accounts

- Master's in Logistics and Transport Management or Supply Chain Management (added advantage)

- Qualification in Customs and Legislation or Freight Forward Practice (added advantage)
