AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) Zimbabwe

Chitungwiza Central, Beitbridge District, and Tsholotsho District Hospital OI Clinics

Job Responsibilities

AHF seeks passionate and highly qualified Medical Officers to manage resources, ensure high-quality clinical care, and make strategic decisions.

- Provide clinical care and monitoring to patients (48 hours/week)

- Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures

- Order and interpret diagnostic tests

- Record physical findings and formulate treatment plans

- Prescribe medication and refer patients to specialists

- Attend meetings and represent AHF

- Lead quality improvement projects and clinic audits

Supervisory Responsibilities:

- Supervise nurses, junior doctors, and healthcare workers at the OI Clinic

Skills and Abilities

- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from a recognized institution

- Registered with the MDPCZ with a Current Open Practicing certificate

- Master of Public Health (MPH) is an added advantage

- Experience in HIV-related programs, quality improvement, and stakeholder management

- Teaching, mentoring, and research skills
