Description

We invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Pharmacy Technician in the Health Services Directorate.

Job Responsibilities

- Process prescriptions

- Dispense medicines following guidelines and standard operating procedures

- Manage stock ordering and control

- Collect relevant data and communicate with the healthcare team

- Provide pharmaceutical care to healthcare consumers

- Maintain high levels of professionalism

- Promote rational use of medicines

- Participate in standard operating procedures development and optimization

- Supervise subordinate staff and work with supervisors and leadership

Skills and Abilities

Educational Qualification

- Pharmacy Technician Diploma

- Registration by the Pharmacist Council of Zimbabwe

- Other relevant qualifications will be regarded as an added advantage

- At least 3 years of postgraduate experience in a pharmacy
