Description

We invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Dispensary Assistant in the Health Services Directorate.

Job Responsibilities

- Receive and process prescriptions

- Count and pack medicines following guidelines and standard operating procedures

- Maintain pharmacy storage and shelving

- Participate in stock takes

- Provide good customer care

- Clean and maintain order in the pharmacy

- Promote rational use of medicines

- Work as a team with other pharmacy personnel

Skills and Abilities

Educational Qualification

- HEXCO Pharmacy/Dispensary Assistant certification or equivalent

- Other relevant qualifications will be regarded as an added advantage

- At least 3 years of experience in a pharmacy
