Job Responsibilities

- Scope of Position

- Financial reporting

- Working closely with internal and external auditors

- Preparation of reports for the board and the Audit and Risk Committee

- Managing budgets

- Conducting financial assessments

- Implementing cost-effective strategies

- Collaborating with management to align financial decisions with the organization's strategic goals

- Accountabilities

- Collaborate with management on identifying, developing, and executing possible funding strategies

- Ensure that divisional financial statements are prepared in line with accounting standards

- Monitor effective implementation of financial and non-financial controls within the group

- Conduct research into international standards and best practices in financial reporting for entities in the healthcare industry

Skills and Abilities

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor of Accounting Degree or equivalent

- Professional Accounting qualification - CA(Z)

- 4+ years' experience in Finance at Managerial level, Health Finance, or management experience in a reputable Audit firm, with extensive exposure to Insurance, Medical Aid, or healthcare industries
