Our client in Harare is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join their team in the food manufacturing industry, specifically in the baking sector.

Job Responsibilities

- Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand

- Optimize production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness

- Monitor production output and adjust schedules as needed

- Ensure consistent quality of products by adhering to recipes and standards

- Supervise and train bakery staff

- Manage inventory levels of ingredients, supplies, and packaging materials

- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies

- Monitor production costs and identify areas for improvement

Skills and Abilities

- Excellent analytical, numerical, and interpersonal skills

- Highly computer literate

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Educational Qualification

- At least 15 years of experience in the baking industry

- Experience in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) is required

- Degree in Food Science, Production Management, or a relevant qualification
