- Drive new business growth through targeted prospecting, networking, and market engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across multiple sectors
- Prepare and present compelling proposals and client-specific logistics solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of services
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
- Develop pricing and quotations aligned with company margin goals
- Strong background in pricing, quotations, and freight solution design
- Hands-on experience across sea, road, rail, multimodal, and specialized cargo (e.g., project, refrigerated, LCL)
- Familiar with key regional routes: South Africa, Beira, Dar es Salaam, and Namibia
- Proven track record managing high shipment volumes, diverse client portfolios, and maintaining strong margins
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (Master's is an advantage)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar business development role
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
