Description

We're seeking a Community Health Worker to carry out interpersonal communication activities for "The Strength is in You" Anti-Drug Campaign at the community level.

- Budiriro (3 positions)

- Glen View (2 positions)

- Mabvuku (1 position)

- Tafara (1 position)

Job Responsibilities

- Conduct interactive personal communication sessions with priority population groups

- Execute mid-media campaign activities

- Develop and implement a monthly itinerary for conducting weekly personal communication sessions/community dialogues

- Support local PSH & government line ministry structures

- Map congregate settings for anti-drug and substance use information dissemination

- Mobilize campaign priority population groups for dialogue

- Support community-based interventions

- Facilitate referral of drug users to local community support groups

- Facilitate linkage to SRHR & HIV services

- Incorporate campaign messages into daily community activities

- Document project activities

Skills and Abilities

Educational Qualification

- Minimum 5 'O' levels

- Diploma/Degree in Social Sciences (added advantage)

- Reside in or near the applied area

- Experience in public health/SRHR/Mental Health/Drug & Substance Abuse programming (added advantage)
