Description

Were hiring a Boarding Master for Mother Touch Group of Schools in Selous, Mashonaland West. Oversee student welfare, discipline, and development in a senior school boarding facility. Must be hands-on, practical, and able to contribute to maintenance and repairs.

Job Responsibilities

- Supervise and ensure safety, discipline, and well-being of boarding students

- Maintain structured and supportive boarding environment

- Provide guidance, mentorship, and pastoral care

- Manage daily boarding routines and oversee hostel operations

- Communicate with staff and parents on student welfare

- Carry out basic repairs and maintenance tasks

- Support general school operations and upkeep

Skills and Abilities

- Practical skills in maintenance (plumbing, carpentry, electrical work or related trade)

- Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills

- Experience in managing student welfare, discipline and development

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and proactive, hands-on approach

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- High level of integrity, responsibility and professionalism

Educational Qualification

A relevant qualification in a related field such as maintenance, education or social work is an added advantage.
